Matt Comer, 23, owner and editor of IntersateQ.com, is an LGBT journalist, activist and youth advocate currently living and working in Charlotte, N.C., where he serves as the editor of Q-Notes, the Carolinas’ premier LGBT news source, in print and online.

A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Matt attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is still continuing to pursue his bachelors degree. He has been active in LGBT advocacy work since the age of 14.

Matt started this blog first in July 2005 on Blogger and then later moved to a local paid hosting service (TechTriad). In January 2007, the entire site moved to its current home, InterstateQ.com.
