One night, Three big gay parties

I had a great night.

Hit up the Guilford Green Foundation/Adam Foundation’s Triad Takeover Night at Green Valley Grill. I actually managed to find something affordable to eat there (sort of). I had some wonderful bowtie pasta for grand total of about $22.00 (including tip). I highly recommend it. Chatted with a bunch of folks and kind of mingled around.

After Takeover Night, I headed out to the new Q Lounge with some friends/colleagues to hang out and chat. After about an hour and a half there… it was off to Warehouse29.

I had a blast there, too. Saw and chatted with a really hot, blonde-headed guy who I think (I hope) will go to the ART Casting Call for the “Men of Greensboro” calendar. The casting call is Saturday (today) noon to 3pm, at the Biltmore Greensboro Hotel, 111 W. Washington Street in Downtown Greensboro.

    Sorry we missed one another. Rob and I showed up and hung out for a while and did ask if you were there. (Admittedly, we did woof at some of the handsome thangs, too [chuckle]). Behave? Nah :-)
    Thanks for keeping us informed of GLBT happenings. Rob and I both feel that it’s important to be visible. If we remain invisible, it’s too easy to be marginalized. Stay out and proud, keep gathering and blogging! Give a call some time. We know how to eat cheap and well at the same time in GSO.

  4. I behaved Samantha… don’t worry. I had to follow a friend home to make sure he got there okay (he had a little too many drinks), but I took him in and came all the way back to Winston. It was good to get out of Warehouse though. It was a little hot and muggy inside for some reason.

    Thanks Bill for the comment and for coming out last night… you were at the Takeover Night, right? Too bad I missed you.

    We know how to eat cheap and well at the same time in GSO.
    Well… we had better not plan on going back to Green Valley Grill, huh? lol :)

  5. LOL, oh, I know that’s right! A fellow next to us ordered a single, room-temperature shot of Jack (neat) and the waitron said “$5″ without missing a beat.

    Now I know why I quit drinkin’ :-D
