NC State rears its ugly anti-gay face #3

Here it is again, in what is becoming a daily feature… Your dose of anti-gay hate and bigotry from oozing from one of North Carolina’s “finest,” “most upstanding,” “highly regarded” state universities: NC State. The debate over the proposed NC State LGBT student center (past stories) is still raging.
The folks in the “Students Against NCSU LGBT Center” Facebook group continue to spout off anti-gay religiously-motivated prejudice. They continue to refer to gay people as “fags” or “queers.” They continue to make comments which could easily be taken to insinuate violence or ill-will toward LGBT people.
Here’s your daily, read and (maybe) cry or throw up dose of true “family values” from good ole’ North Carolina (horribly improper, 2nd grade grammar, spelling and other illiteracies belong to the authors, not me):
Ishma Pinckney, a student whose outrageous comments I’ve posted numerous times, lets everyone know that he has been turned into the student conduct office: someone reported me to student conduct because of my CHRISTIAN comments on this message board…this is a crying shame..but as the bible says i will take it all in joy and this will just add fuel to my fire in the fight agaisnt the LGBT center….just to let you know you’ve didn’t hurt the sleeping giant you just awoken it and he’s as mad as ever While he says he was making “Christian” comments, he forgets to mention on he stressed gay people should be put to death and that he has referred to this debate as a “war” for Christ and morals. He also accuses the NC State Student Senate of being full of gays: maybe the student gov voted for the center to have somewhere to go for themselves LOL (lol just a little humor in such a touchy subject no offense) He also fails to see LGBT people as oppressed, discriminated against, in danger of being shot, hung, beaten or in some other way killed or mutilated because they are gay, getting kicked out of the home, their job, their school, being rejected by Church, State and Family, so on and so on: homesexuality is just about who they choose to have sex with it can never be compared to 300 years of slavery and abuse 100 years afterward of oppression, poverty, etc. if the senate give a center to black men who like gurls with big butts then i will proudly give my money to the homo……well no i won’t
Student Ben Dineen seems to think people turn gay for being shot down by the opposite sex: if everyone would just understand that boys should like girls and girls should like boys, we would not have this problem. just because you might have been shot down by the opposite sex does not mean that you should go queer

Jonathan George wants a center for gay-bashers (does that mean we get to have a KKK center, or would those two centers just be rolled into one?): well if we are going to have a center for fags so that they can have a safeheaven from bashing and to end discrimination. Lets have another center right beside it where people can go and openly bash the gay community. So that people that dont like, care for, or even hate homosexuals can go to express their opinions without being hated for hating homos.
Another student, John Whitley, makes a satanic comparison (not the first time this comparison has been made, for sure): The purpose of this group is to convey the message that normal people don’t feel they should have to pay for a facility they are not going to use. If I wanted to raise money for a satanic worshiping center that you probably would not use do you feel you should have fund it? Whitley (notice the profile pic he is using, pictured right) also made this comment: there is a place they can go. IT’S CALLED UNC-CHAPEL HILL YOU NIMROD! Give the damn money to areas that actually need it and not to a cause that just provides a sexual meeting place. Sexual Meeting place? Oh, straight people would NEVER date someone they met at other campus-funded places, would they?
By the way… You should go join the “Students For NCSU LGBT Center” and join up there. They have just under 600 members. The anti-gay folks have right at 1400.
