I had been on their blogroll for a while now. For most of the time, I had been in the “Gay blogs just found” category, but I’m proud (and humbled at the same time) to report that I’ve been moved up into their blogroll’s “News” category.

Again… Thanks BGB and thanks also to all of BGB’s readers who have clicked over today.

Hobbies:
Driving around in my truck, hanging out in the mountains of Virginia & North Carolina, being a geek and watching interesting shows on the History Channel, being a geek again and watching CNN and MSNBC

Special Skills:
I can make some great tasting coffee, for sure but seriously, I guess I’m moderately good at geek-techie stuff like making web sites, but I think my most special skills (which I am continually improving upon) are in my actual writing, the little bit of knowledge I have on politics and the legislative process, and the knowledge I have on issues important to the LGBT community.

Your “type”:
Hmmm - I guess this one kind of varies. I think I’d definitely be able to fall in love with a guy who knows what he wants and does what he needs to get it. I definitely like a guy who is politically-minded, knows the issues and who isn’t afraid to stand up and speak out on important matters. Yeah - my future husband and I will probably be a “power couple.” But then again - the whole emo/punk thing is pretty hot, too.

Anything interesting about you your readers don’t already know:
It is horrible, I know, but I still live with my mother. It was definitely a trade-off between living on my own and having to have a regular job and absolutely no time to do any of my activism or living at home and having all the time I need to invest in my work and school.
