Harry Potter… All grown up!
According to an article from London’s The Daily Mail, Daniel Radcliffe, the 17 year old British actor made most famous by his character Harry Potter, is scheduled to appear in the play Equus on a West End stage in London.
The move by Radcliffe has parents of some fans upset. Why, you ask? In the play Radcliffe will appear nude in an extended sex scene (with a woman… darn it, lol).
Radcliffe has been beefing it up, though. According to the news article, he’s been pumping some iron in the gym. The photo below gives you just a hint (anyone traveling to London now?).
For more on the controversy, Radcliffe and the play… see the news article.

LOL. I can’t believe that geek grew into something hot.

Hey… It happens Joe. I’m still a geek myself but I’m certainly not the 240lbs geek with no fashion sense and no life that I was in 8th grade, lol.

He’s just approaching his sexual peak - he should look that good. And congratulations to him for not allowing people’s perceptions of him as an actor or man to pigeonhole himself in pursuit of his craft. Call this a classier way for a child star (of the female persuasion) doing a spread in Details, FHM or Playboy to prove to the world that they’ve grown up.
Matt, if you have fashion sense then you are no longer a geek. It’s against geek law. You are, however, an FFQB - a formerly fat queer boy. And the gay world is overloaded with them because of the world’s obsession with body image in which what’s between your nipples and crotch is as important as what’s between your legs. Never mind what’s between your ears.
Nevertheless enjoy it while you can, it just gets worse as you get older. Even Rupert Everett complains that at 47 he’s invisible in gay bars. I guess growing up changes you from being a cock to being a prick. LOL.

FFQB… that’s funny. To tell you the truth, I never really tried to lose weight. It just sorta happened between 8th grade and graduation and still I lost more inches even in college. I think most of it has been my hectic schedule and not always having time to stop and eat for a full meal. Many times, instead of spending money I didn’t have on the quick and easy McDonalds crap, I’d just wait ’till supper. Not to mention that the majority of my diet consists of coffee, lol.

Matt: Don’t just lose the weight. Try to build some muscle too. You never know when whatever school you go to might be putting on Shaffer’s “Equus” and wouldn’t you rather play Alan Strang than the psychiatrist?
