Thank you all for standing by as we put in the new design.

Here are some updates:

1. We attempted to be all fancy with some icons linking to pages within the site in the blue “Welcome to” header on the front page. Of course, it didn’t work out as we thought. In order for the transparent backgrounds to appear properly in all browsers we had to use GIF picture files, which severely takes away from the clean and crisp look of the original PNG files.
2. We have addeed “About the Author” sections at the bottom of individual posts. The “About the Author” sections are viewable only on the individual post pages (the pages that show the comment threads as opposed to pages which show post after post). The section gives the name of the post author, a brief bio and a link to view just the posts made by that particular author. We hope that this will help to make readers more aware of the posts put up by our individual contributors (as of right now… just me and Brandy).
