Sorry guys, I'll take Giuliani (I guess I'm going Republican this time, though I'm an Independent). I loved him ever since he lived with that gay couple throughout the whole 9-11 crisis and trumpeted it as one of the best relationships he'd ever seen. (LOL- no, that's not the ONLY reason I love him).

Ryan... I don't know how well you keep up with LGBT politics, but there is certainly a battle with Democratic candidates over which one is going to turn out to be the most supportive of our community. Just take one look at the cover of the current issue of THE ADVOCATE and you'll see what I mean. In that cover article in THE ADVOCATE, there was supposed to be a sidebar on John Edwards and his positions and supporters (I was going to be included in that sidebar), but it got cut out during the final edit. I'm not surprised that since Clinton and Obama got so much coverage in this major LGBT-oriented news magazine that the Edwards campaign had to come up with something to say, "Hey... I'm supportive, too!"

Is it at all surprising that I'm supporting him for the primary? I think Edwards would be best. In all honesty, I think it should be an Edwards/Obama ticket (whichever gets Pres and VP I don't care). Honestly, I believe it is just BAD for America if one family controls the White House for what could be almost three decades (that is, if Clinton is elected in 08 and gets re-elected in 2012).
