Clinton releases list of LGBT supporters
Just one week after John Edwards released a similar list, Hillary Clinton’s Presidential campaign has released an early list of some LGBT leaders supporting her bid for the White House.
You can view the list at the Washington Blade.
These lists really don’t mean much - except for, perhaps, their value in networking and fundraising. I think it is way too early to tell which candidate will come out with having the most LGBT support but I’m going to bet it will be Clinton. With the amount of power, money, networking and with as many folks as she knows and has worked with I think Clinton has the possibility to be the front-runner when it comes to the LGBT vote. However, I also know that there are a great many LGBT folks who do not favor Clinton for the White House.
Time will tell.
