Please see this important post: An interesting take on Lay, the facts as I know them and a ‘mea culpa’

A new watchdog website is reporting (and I’ve seen this somewhere else, I just can’t remember) on Representative Patrick McHenry (NC-10) political campaign spokesman and former chief of staff Jason Dean’s long list of crimes and convictions.

You see, the McHenry-Lay Voter Fraud Scandal was just the beginning. McHenry’s camp has more illegal activities, improprieties, lies and cheats than a back-alley.

According to Patrick McHenry EXPOSED!, Deans has a long list of crimes and offenses going back to 1995:

1995:

  • February 21, 1995 – Death by motor vehicle

1998:

  • April 9, 1998 – Speeding 65 in a 45

1999:

  • May 20, 1999 – No registration card
  • June 3, 1999 – Worthless check
  • June 20, 1999 – Expired registration card/tag

2000:

  • May 6, 2000 – Speeding 79 in a 60, Expired/no inspection sticker
  • September 6, 2000 – Operating a vehicle with no insurance, expired registration card/tag, no registration card, expired/no inspection sticker
  • December 15, 2000 – Driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with no insurance

2002:

  • May 21, 2002 – Operating vehicle with no insurance, expired registration card/tag

2003:

  • January 12, 2003 – Speeding 63 in a 45

2004:

  • February 21, 2004 – Expired registration card/tag, expired/no inspection sticker
  • September 3, 2004 – Operating a vehicle with no insurance, expired registration card/tag, expired/no inspection sticker

Most folks will remember Deans as the one who issued a statement with McHenry after the outing of the McHenry-Lay Voter Fraud Scandal. In that statement, Deans & McHenry stated:

This is the culmination of a three-year smear campaign against Congressman McHenry, his campaign workers and supporters,” Deans’ statement read. “This case is much like the Duke lacrosse case in that a politically-motivated district attorney sought an indictment against a young man without even granting him an interview.

Just yesterday, I posted news on McHenry’s escapades with a lollipop and drunken, underage college students. Olbermann also named him the “Worst Person in the World.” McHenry is dealing with a campaign aide who has been indicted on felony charges and McHenry’s improprieties and reports of them just don’t seem to have any end in sight.

I’m starting to feel bad for the guy. Well, not really.

Corruption, lying, cheating, hypocrisy and everything McHenry represents has no place in our Congress. More importantly, there is no place for a man like this in representing the good State of North Carolina to the nation and the world.

I hope you will join with me and others in helping to bring together the news on McHenry at Patrick McHenry EXPOSED!
