NC is more progressive than CA

Um… just kidding. So not true, but maybe it is close?
Guess which state was the first to have a student anti-bullying and anti-harassment bill including sexual orientation & gender-idenitity pass its state house in 2007?
Did you guess California? You are wrong.
California passed just such a bill this month in its Judiciary Committee and it hasn’t reached the floor. In May, North Carolina’s House totally passed the School Violence Prevention Act and sent it to the NC Senate.
Haha. We rule… at least in the South
