Everyone on God’s green earth knows that when it comes down to the North Carolina primary (yeah, yeah, it really doesn’t mean anything for the nomination), I’m gonna be voting for John Edwards. Hey… I admit I’m biased; I’m voting for the cute Southern, North Carolinian.
Edwards did a wonderful job in the HRC/Logo Presidential Forum. He really did.
There has been a lot of conversation on the issue already and I’m more than sure that conversation will continue through Friday, Saturday and all the way in to next week.
Richardson said being gay is a choice (yeah, he did, he really did – Pam has more on clarifications from Richardson’s staff and a convo with him). Clinton came down as condescending, telling us to be patient. Obama was, um, okay (he basically said the same thing he always does and certainly repeated the same lines during his post-forum conference with supporters). The other lesser knowns – who cares.
But Edwards? Oh… Edwards! He actually changed his course. He actually moved forward. He actually addressed the real issues.
I’ve never been more proud.
