Lovers’ triangle murder-suicide connections to McHenry?
by Matt | August 31st, 2007 |A North Carolina blogger at Pat Go Bye-Bye has turned up some interesting tid-bits on a gay lovers’ triangle involving Republican operatives and officials in Florida.
Interestingly, the two who were shot and the one who killed himself may have connections to Republican Representative Patrick McHenry (NC-10).
Buried in a terribly sad story over at the North Carolina Conservative are some interesting local tidbits.
Florida police are saying that Jason Robert Drake,* left, shot two republican political consultants, Ralph Gonzalez and David Abrami, and then himself last week. What they’re not saying is why. After first calling it a lover’s triangle, they’re now saying:
Drake was found carrying a firearm and backpack full of ammunition. Deputies said in a short statement witnesses had mentioned “a number of potential motives.”
NCC editor Judson Cox has done some digging and come up with a convoluted story that involves another murder in Pennsylvania, several video and still male-on-male porn sites, and a call-boy service in Virginia. Go read for yourself but I’d advise you not to follow the some of the links in the articles I link to unless you don’t mind male nudity and more at your computer.
What caught my eye in the locally-oriented NCC article was the last paragraph and I’ll quote it here:
Sources tell The North Carolina Conservative that Drake volunteered on several Republican campaigns in western North Carolina, and was an associate of Congressman Patrick McHenry. Gonzalez is also believed to have been associated with McHenry in the past. Since being elected, McHenry has attempted to insure that all elected officials in his district are his supporters and cronies. This has caused a very nasty political war of attrition in the 10th District. Sources say that Drake worked on these campaigns as a surrogate of McHenry.
Pat Go Bye Bye readers will recall that I wrote of the McHenry connection last Friday. I have two off-the-record sources tying Gonzales to McHenry (and one wacky dude.) At the time I didn’t have the information that Drake had ties to Rutherford County. (I’ve since read where he was coming there to be buried but can no longer find the link.)

I wish I were joking. And I wouldn’t copy something so sensational from another blog if I didn’t have my own confirming sources. The NCC is a conservative site. I’m getting similar (but not as detailed) reports from my sources. Maybe it’s a big con job from a lot of different people. That’s certainly a possibility. Keep anti-McHenry blogs busy with crazy stuff to make us look bad and keep us away from his financial irregularities.
But, you’re dead right to be laughing, Ryan. If it’s not true, what a great joke on us. If it is, what is there to do but wonder in amazement and amusement at the plots and schemes of messed up people.
FYI, the ex-wife of Jason Drake (the alleged gunman) emailed me with a small correction. I asked her to confirm her relationship with Drake and to fact-check my story. She said she was indeed his ex-wife and
She also said that she would look the story over again when she got a chance. The email matched her blog . . . are you still laughing now?

Well, from another free republic blog, someone knows that the North Carolina phone call to the police about David Abrami’s whereabouts was from the girlfriend David was MOVING IN WITH. And now Drake’s ex wife is saying he was not gay..
Suppose I told you in 2004 there was another MURDER of a Florida DOT inspector general investigating FEENEY and his client with millions in fraudulent overcharging YANG enterprises? He was killed two months before his daughter’s wedding. They said suicide for him in Valdosta Ga. Except a sheriff there LEAKED the crime photos, he was strangled, his arm slit, and a tornequet used to torture him. His name was Raymond Lemme.
Before he was killed, he had an appt with the General counsel of Jeb bush’s Florida DOT. Lemme was also investigating TOLL ROAD FRAUD and overcharging of contracts….After Lemme’s death, Yang enterprises was receiving money, until a horrible state audit put an end to that.
Since Yang enterprises, from the DOT employee and former Yang enterprise software writer-CLINTON CURTIS went before US Judiciary in sworn statements about software he was made to write that could manipulate votes in electronic voting machines, I think Ralph Gonzalez was murdered for what he knew. And the men were in the way.
Gonzalez had a Strategum business partner (2007) that was TODD SCHNICK (FLA Republican Director 2000 vote count lawsuits), also with him when they were directors of GA Republican Party under investigated REED as Chairman in 2001-2002. Then Ralph left for the Feeney campaign. ANd then,all these great black Democrat voting areas in Ga started having White Republican wins. And they have been challenging, like the rest of America, that the software was re-written and fixed in the Diebold machines…..
Suppose the manipulation of our voting nationwide centers around what Ralph would have known, and Yang and Feeney have been in the Wash DC newspapers for the last month… And Diebold is losing contracts for state voting machines.I think there is a connection. Do you???
