Lesbian & Gay Center in Charlotte names new Executive Director

According to an article published by Carolina Rainbow News (CRN Interactive), the Lesbian and Gay Community Center (”The Center”) of Charlotte, NC, has named a new Executive Director.

The Lesbian & Gay Community Center’s Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Laura Kane-Witkowski has been hired as the new executive director. In her new position she will provide direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s values, mission, strategy and it’s annual goals and objectives.

Before relocating recently to Charlotte with her partner, Jessica Kane who is with Bank of America, Kane-Witkowski directed at Affirmations Lesbian Gay Community Center in Detroit.

Great news for Charlotte. Now all we need is a LGBTQA center in the Triad!
