Susan Wiseman’s case turned over to DA Tom Keith

by Matt | February 23rd, 2006 |

According to The Winston-Salem Journal, the criminal case involving Susan Wiseman and the false allegations of sexual misconduct with a student was handed over to Forsyth County District Attorney Tom Keith on Wednesday.

Susan Wiseman, a teacher at East Forsyth High School, is taking the brunt of anti-gay prejudice and biasĀ in theĀ Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. As stated in an earlier post (”Susan Wiseman is innocent; victim of WS/FCS anti-gay scheme“), the allegations thrown at Ms. Wiseman are blatantly false and motivated only the the anti-gay biases and prejudices of the Board of Education and other School System administrators and personnel (see the first “Anti-Gay Politicians Watch” for examples)

Ms. Wiseman has not yet been charged in the case and, God-willing, she won’t be. If all of this does nothing but to push Ms. Wiseman away from teaching or working for students, all I can say is that we are losing a wonderful teacher, advocate and friend.
