UNCG Libertarians not happy with new policy

The UNCG Libertarians, headed up by Allison Jaynes, are still upset over a policy which they challenged at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The group had challenged the University’s Free Speech Policy which, at one time, kept free speech and assembly activities restricted to two very small “free speech zones” on the campus (see SRAC Free Speech Archive Page).
The new policy, which opens up the great majority of campus property to students, is still not good enough for the Libertarians. The new policy was approved on Monday, March 20, 2006, by Chancellor Pat Sullivan.
I had the pleasure of serving as a student member of the ad-hoc committee which gave recommendations on revising the policy, along with a good friend of mine, Ryan Radford. I have put up a post on the controversy on the Student Rights-oriented blog Ryan and I operate together.

It seems to me like the new policy is still a compromise, and the students’ argument is based on the bedrock of our nation. If the 1st amendment isn’t worth taking an uncompromising position, what is?
