Yesterday, the United States House of Representatives passed the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act (HR 1592), by a vote of 237-180.
According to 365gay.com News, voting yes were 212 Democrats and 25 Republicans and voting no were 14 Democrats and 166 Republicans.
