On Nov. 19, NBC Nightly News’ Brian Williams was reporting on the 60th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip.
In his intro to the piece, Williams referred to marriage as being “under attack.”
Perhaps rightly so, gay journalists, bloggers and activists immediately took notice:

Georgia Trans elected official slammed with lawsuit

Michelle Bruce, a transgender member of the Riverdale, Georgia City Council is being sued by those who lost the election to her.

Attack at Greenville ‘gay’ bar?

365gay.com News has reported that four men are recovering from stabbing wounds they received during an attack/fight at Croc’s, a bar in Greenville, S.C. (h/t Gay Charleston).
This is the same bar where Sean Kennedy was attacked by Stephen Moller in May.

Update: Myers Park Baptist ousted from N.C. Convention

Meeting in Greensboro, the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina has voted overwhelmingly to oust Charlotte’s Myers Park Baptist Church over that church’s public stand for the dignity and respect of LGBT Baptists.
Myers Park is the first church to be booted under a policy attacking gay-friendly Baptists passed by the Convention in 2006.
