According to The New York Times, Health Ledger, 28, was found dead today in his apartment in New York City.
The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment building at 421 Broome Street in SoHo, according to the New York City police. Mr. Ledger was 28.

While I understand the motivation behind the push for domestic partnerships and civil unions, I can't support them. I learned today that New Mexico is one step closer to granting domestic partnerships to same-sex couples and while I'm excited for those couples which will (hopefully) soon have more rights ...

According to the blog of the national LGBT Episcopalian group, Integrity, the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina passed an LGBT-supportive resolution at is 192nd General Convention on Saturday.
The debate on the resolution, although shortened due to threat of winter weather, was civil and respectful.
